Linda Hutchison studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design graduating with a degree in Visual Communication. She also studied painting at Acadia University.

 

Linda works largely in oil but has also completed several commissioned pastel portraits.

 

She served as Chair of Visual Arts Nova Scotia, volunteered on the board of the Nova Scotia Talent Trust, and was a trustee of the Board of the National Gallery of Canada for over a decade.

 

Linda has recently retired from her role as Associate Vice President, University Relations at NSCAD University. She is delighted to return to her studio in Kentville to explore new mediums.
